Deputy Chief Christian Tobin has been serving the community since 1999. He began his career with Golden Gate Fire-Rescue of that year and has continuously served as a firefighter with increasing responsibilities and rank. Serving as a Firefighter-Paramedic, Christian Tobin has held the positions of Firefighter, Driver-Engineer, Lieutenant, Battalion Commander (Captain), Battalion Chief, Assistant Chief of Operations, and currently Deputy Chief of Operations, Training, Policy, and Labor Management .

Deputy Chief Christian Tobin’s educational accomplishments consist of a Masters in Public Administration from Hodges University, Bachelors in Emergency Management from Edison State College, and Associate Degrees in Fire Science and Emergency Medicine. He has earned a Florida Fire Officer IV certification and a State of Florida Paramedic license.

Before joining the fire service, Deputy Chief Christian Tobin served honorably in the United States Marine Corps as an Air Support Operations Operator. He enjoys recreational ice hockey, reading, and military history during his off-duty time.
