Communications & Security Enhancements
Thanks to the Millage increase, the following improvements to District communications and security are currently underway:
- The District is now able to provide new portable and mobile radios for all staff and vehicles. These new radios have the ability to use LTE cellular services along with traditional radio towers to expand range, coverage and reliability for field use.
- Additionally, the District will now have the ability to implement electronic access controls and CCTV system upgrades across all district-owned facilities. This function will help ensure the safety and security of the public, staff, and assets within the District.
