Division Chief Caleb Morris began his career in the fire service as a volunteer with the Ochopee Fire Control and Rescue District in 1997. His transition to a full time fire career at Ochopee began in 1998. He was promoted throughout the years to the rank of Assistant Chief.
Division Chief Morris is a State Certified Fire Officer, Fire Inspector, Fire Instructor, and EMT. He also holds numerous Leadership certificates from the National Fire Academy as well as various wildland certifications. He is a licensed United States Coast Guard boat captain, and is also a certified Rescue Diver.
Chief Morris oversees the District’s Marine Emergency Response Team, and all operational, administrative, and public functions for the Ochopee Service Area.
When Chief Morris is not on duty he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
