Assistant Chief Krajewski began his career in 1999 with the Golden Gate Fire District.  He has served in the ranks of Firefighter, Driver/Engineer, Lieutenant, and Battalion Chief. In 2021 he was promoted to the Rank of Assistant Chief.

Assistant Chief Krajewski has oversight responsibilities for Training, Safety, and Special Operations. In this position he coordinates training for all members of the Greater Naples Fire District with the assistance of his team members of the Training Section. Assistant Chief Krajewski has been involved with several District committees and is currently the Chairman of the District’s Health & Safety Committee. He is also Co-Chairperson, with the Human Resources Director, who have oversight for the development of the District’s Standard Operating Guidelines.

As the Special Operations Chief, Assistant Chief Krajewski has responsibility for the District’s Dive, Hazardous Materials, MERT, and Technical Rescue teams. He is also part of the District’s Technical Rescue Team, LTRT635, and was deployed to north Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

On his days off, Assistant Chief enjoys spending time with his family, listening to books on World War II, NASA, and the United States Space Program, and staying in touch with his new grandson over FaceTime.
